Seven Dials: the reviews have started coming in

In October, Seven Dials was published. Finishing a novel was a nice moment, but the real objective - the very reason for all the hours - is that you want others to read and explore the worlds created within the pages. Any feedback is valuable, nice words are heartening and recommendations to others that they should “join the quest” (so to speak) are very precious indeed. Some recent reviews from Amazon and Goodreads below.

Thomas Neale, in the past, and three compelling modern-day characters: Alison Hill, Brad Sayers and Svenja Caro are creating quite a stir. Humbly I offer you some views from others.

“Just finished reading. Loved it. The blending of two different time periods is typically super difficult to pull off coherently, and yet you have done so!”

"Seven Dials is a work of great imagination, taking the reader to all sorts of unexpected places. I am sorely tempted to become a Questor!"

“I really enjoyed this book. I loved the switch between the present and historical storylines, and it all came together in a thrilling and intriguing conclusion. A great stand-alone novel, but also a hint of more to come all based on a really fascinating historical puzzle.”

"This is an excellent book, beautifully written, with a very clever, well-researched storyline. The descriptions of people, places & events are detailed & perceptive.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It cleverly moves between modern day and the mid/late 17th century and as well as being a great story (with shades of Dan Brown), it also sheds some light on a relatively unknown but fascinating historical character Thomas Neale. I’m very much looking forward to the next book in the series.”

“I loved this book! It’s a real page-turner with a great pace. I enjoyed the clever way that the historical story was linked to the modern-day story and loved that so many places referenced are real places in London and elsewhere that I’ve seen. I knew nothing about Thomas Neale before I read this book, and I am stunned that he’s not more well-known. I think the modern-day ‘Questors’ are a great idea and hope there’s going to be a Book 2!”
