TAKE THE GLUEOMETER

Is your organisation as cohesive as it could be?

Cohesion — the degree to which your leaders, culture and structure actively create the conditions for people to work well together — is one of the most powerful and least measured drivers of organisational performance.

The Glueometer is a free diagnostic tool that measures organisational cohesion in under five minutes. Based on the GLUE framework developed by John Dore and published by Routledge (Business Book of the Year 2024, Leadership category), it asks you to evaluate 20 observed characteristics of your organisation, its leaders and its culture.

There are no right or wrong answers. The tool is designed to surface an honest picture of where your organisation sits across four dimensions: Leadership, Talent, Culture and Structure.

On completion, you receive an immediate Glue Score out of 100, placing your organisation in one of five bands — from Faltering through to Super Glue — along with a personalised interpretation of what your score means and what it suggests about the conditions inside your organisation.

Whether you score 20 or 95, the result is the beginning of a conversation worth having.

Take the Glueometer.

Find out how cohesive your organisation really is.

A colorful infographic titled 'The Glueometer—Organizational Cohesion Score' displays a horizontal bar with five sections: red for 'Faltering', orange for 'Conventional', blue for 'Connected', green for 'Cohesive', and purple for 'Super Glue'. Each section has a percentage range and a brief description of the cohesion level.
Circle charts displaying scores for leadership (89), talent (60), culture (50), and structure (76) with labels and descriptions underneath.

Book cover with yellow background and black and orange text. The title, 'GLUE: Transforming Leadership in a Hybrid World,' is prominently displayed. A quote by Gary Hamel is at the top, and the author's name, John Dore, is at the bottom.

What is the Glueometer?

The Glueometer is a free, five-minute diagnostic that measures organisational cohesion — the degree to which your leaders, culture and structure actively create the conditions for people to work well together.

Based on the GLUE framework developed by John Dore and published by Routledge (Business Book of the Year 2024, Leadership category). The tool asks you to evaluate 20 observed characteristics of your organisation across four dimensions:

Leadership — how leaders inspire, connect and cultivate cohesion
Talent — how people are developed, recognised and retained
Culture — how shared values and behaviours shape the environment
Structure — how the organisation design supports or hinders connection

On completion, you receive an immediate Glue Score out of 100, placing your organisation in one of five bands from Faltering to Super Glue, along with a personalised interpretation and your results by theme. There are no right or wrong answers. The Glueometer is designed to  surface an honest picture — and start a conversation worth having.
